Hartley Trail Workday Nov 4

we will be rerouting the section of the trail that crosses private property on nov 4 at 830 am.

please meet in the nature center parking lot or on the trail entrance off catherine st and kenwood ave http://tinyurl.com/y449we

mountainbikers will be doing the benchcutting of the new trail and the closing off the old spur trails.

bring your work gloves and appropriate clothing.

this is to re-route an exsisting trail to make a landowner happy. the trail has gone across her property for as long as i've been riding there. loolks like less than 100 yds of new trail.

there's still no plans for "new" singletrack in hartley. city doesn't see a need for new trail there, the nature center doesn't see a need either.

sounds like another project might be in the works for next summer. i'll let you know.
