Monthly Womans Rides

Hey all,

There has been conversation about setting up a Monthly Womans Ride. I wanted to post up about it in the general forum to let all the ladies who arn't part of the Womans Forum to have a chance of hearing about it.

Details will be worked out in the Woman's Forum, so please join by going to your User CP -- Group Memberships -- Join Womans Forum.

These rides will be:

All skill level welcome
On either a saturday or sunday
and there has even been talk about going out to get bloody mary's afterward (however I can't, for obvious reasons :crazy: ).If anyone is interested please PM me, or post up in the Womans Forum.

AND GUYS, this is a reminder yet again for those of you who have wives, girlfriends, life partners, hubbys or any other "relationship" involving a woman who rides, or who wants to try riding, to get her out there. The woman on this forum are nothing less than welcoming- we understand what it feels like to not have womans to ride with and how it can be hard to ride with men all the time, so let your lady know about this!

Well if there's drinking on these rides, I just might be willing to put on a dress and show up. - only kidding :eyeroll:

I will (once again) try and talk my wife and her friends into showing up for one/some of these. If there really is the lure of booze, she might be more willing to show up. I assume you're planning on starting these next season?

we are starting rides in November.

odd months we ride the 1st sunday

even months we ride the 1st saturday

we will have a start time soon.

Have you been to Mammoth yet? I have yet to go there. Do you know if it's open in the winter?

and on a different note. I have been to Mammoth, Marie. Mammoth is not a MORC trail. It is on private land. People ride it in the winter, and I am sure we could also do that. I have ridden there only twice, so we may want to take a trip there before the snow flies to get a feel for it sans snow. Also, we could try and talk Porter to leading us around since he knows the trail well- we don't want to go there unless we really know where we are going and I only know skull loop.

Torey, I hope you come out - I have never ridden with you.

Why don't we plan our innnaugural Booze n Brunch Bike Ride at Mammoth, then? With Global Warming upon us, we shouldn't have snow on the ground by 11/5.
