Even if you're not planning to attend the full Minnesota Mountain Bike Summit, there are two events on Sunday, October 15 that you should definitely be part of.
First, The MORC Film Festival. If you haven't seen the quality of films produced by Minnesota riders, your retinas are in for a treat. If you were at last year's Film Festival, you know how amazing it is to see these films on the big screen. And if you have a pulse, you don't want to miss ROAM (http://www.thecollectivefilm.com/roam/index_roam.html) in all of its glory.
The MORC Film Festival starts at 11:30 on Sunday morning at the Riverview Theater, located at 3800 42nd Ave South in Minneapolis. Admission is $5 (free for Summit attendees).
The second is the Summit Group Ride to Theo Wirth Park. After the Film Fest, we'll meet for lunch (also free for Summit attendees) and an awards presentation at the Riverview Cafe, kitty-corner from the Riverview Theater. Then at 2:30, we'll close out the Summit with a group ride from the Riverview parking to lot to Theo Wirth Park, via the 29th Street Greenway and Wirth Parkway. We'll proceed at a comfortable pace, and everyone's welcome to join in.
Plan to join us this Sunday to help wrap up the Summit in style.
