holy brake bumps!

Did a lap this weekend and I couldn't believe the amount of brake bumps on this trail. Just about EVERY downhill section was a staircase. I actually looked forward to being done. It's a great trail layout and I wish the regular riders knew how to decend a little better (not trying to flame anyone). I don't remember it being that bad last year.

I was out on Friday (10/6) and noticed the same thing but I wonder if some of the bumps aren't from water erosion, exposing roots. I love the layout of this trail but it is getting pretty beat. It is a good trail to test the performance differences between the steel hardtail I have this year versus the aluminum one I had in previous years.

I think it's a combo of both water and braking. It's unfortunate that brake bumps just keep getting bigger and bigger.
I started riding my HT instead of my FS and am really feeling a HUGE difference in my riding. The Geometry is WAY different so there's no "point and shoot" kind of stuff happening. I'm loving it!

This trail has been neglected all year.There has been one trail day this year and that was for a short reroute.No work has been done to control and fix the damage done by erosion.The design of the trail requires regular maintance,its just not getting done.
