I had the great honor of getting a lap and a half in yesterday at memorial and talk about perfection. nothing like tearing through the leave on a crisp autumn day, anyone who opted to stay in and watch football should be shot, I am hoping to do a repeat today, you owe it to yourself to get out and ride on a day like today.

I can really feel the love... :p
I might spend the whole day up on Memorial... or at least head out at night... gotta watch that football (not)
NO stay in and watch football...that way you don't get in my way.

There were a TON of people up on the bluff today.... including at least two groups of people who were just there for the DH... was pretty sweet.
Did you happen to catch names? Or where they were from?
werd up!

Mpls area, making videos, no names but they were all riding treks and sounded fairly new to the DH side of the sport, sounded promising for coming down for next weeks race. did you clarify the status of steeple's DH course, in case any riders are looking for local hits to make the trip down worthwile. (two birds with one stone as it were)

I liked the original thread topic. "you owe it to yourself to get out and ride on a day like today"
Ok, yesterday I couldn't ride. As I carpooled kids to b-day party's did domestic chores etc, I scorned at every rider out enjoying themself!! I was mad at everyone on a bike, any bike, any person. How dare they be so happy like that...I wasn't.
I took revenge this am & biked to work. I'm already having nightmares about summer biking ending...I had a dream Saturday night my crank arm stripped when I overtightended my pedal...these nightmares will last until my first epic powder dream, it happens every year. I'll book my winter trip once the first pow pow huck fest dream occurs.
How dare they be so happy like that...I wasn't.
Sorry to be one of those bikers Heath. . . ;)
My wife and I hit Salem yesterday with another friend whom I'd not ridden with in a long time. What a perfect day to be out on the trail. Salem is about a pretty as it can be right now. The Sumac in the prairie is on fire and the trees are starting to really turn. Absolutely gorgeous!
Check out the size of this mushroom! It's standing about a foot tall in the aspens in the north loop.
