There will be trial work this saturday starting at 8:30 in the morning. Bring your bike for a group ride afterwards. Also listed below are the details for a take a kid mountain biking event being held at steeplechase this fall. All are welcome.

Bring a friend and bring the kids… pack a lunch…and try something new!

Support IMBAs “Take-a-Kid Mountain Biking Day” by riding the beautiful trails at Steeplechase Ski Area.
* No trail fee! (helmets and signed waivers are required)
* FREE instruction by experienced local mountain bikers designed to help
beginner and novice riders of all ages to improve trail-riding technique.
* A practice area containing many features found on the trails will be set up
near the chalet to be used for the riding clinics.
* Additional FUN events for youth.
* Purchase advanced season tickets for the ski and snowboarding season at
Steeplechase Ski and Snowboard area.

We have the skills loop all set up at steeplechase. It includes several logs and log piles of varying size. There is a box with drop off at the end. A long skinny that is about 8-12 inches off of the ground. There is also a really nice teeter totter. I tried to upload some pics but they didn't work so if anyone knows how to upload pics of a decent size let me know and I will try to get them up, or you can pm me your email address and I will send them to you. This skills course is geared towards the novice beginner rider and will be perfect for anyone who comes out for our shimano take a kid mountain biking day. Hope to see you there.
