Hey Andy!
This course is much different then the Devil's Head course. No rocks. Drops, jumps, and berms is the name of the game at this location. Fast and pretty smooth. Biggest drop you'll encounter is like 5'. There is a roll a round for it. Other then its a course full of floaters and berms. Not crazy long but damn it's fun!
Thanks!
Buck

I wasn't racing, but it sure seemed everyone who raced had a good time. The course has been holding up awesomely... hopefully we can keep holding events in Red Wing... maybe tweak a few things... add a little....
Thanks to Buck for helping shore up a few spots before the race.

Yeah, that race was great! I had a blast. The Demo 9 was treatin' me well on the drops. The course held up great. We thought some of the berms might not hold up too well, but they stayed consistent through the whole day. Props to the fellas with the shovels and rakes touching it up this morning. I think the added 'kick' to a couple of the jumps worked out well. Huge thanks to Maria for making the whole thing happen. Let's keep having races here!

Hey everyone,
I put some photos from the race up at:
www.photoshelter.com/user/johnpedersen
There's a link to them in the recent galleries section, just scroll down, it's on the left.
Buck - great shots! I wish I could have stayed longer to shoot after the race, but, alas, I needed to pay the bills...
Take it easy,
John.

Thanks to everyone who showed up! This event was a big success,
both because of the people who came and ripped the course, and because of Maria's dedication to making it happen. Big ups to Buck and the folks at Red Wing for keeping the course sweet, Red Bull for keeping our energy high, and mother nature for holding off on winter til Sunday afternoon!
I also want to personally thank everyone for giving me the chance to try some fun DH in such a great environment. I was riding a total gimmick bike that I had no idea how to ride, but I loved it so much, I'm building my freeride bike already!
