Yeah, those BMXers who plan it don't pay much attention to the MTB scene. Chequamegon is this weekend and many old school BMXers will be there. Geno probably being the one you would not want excluded and many others.....but oh well...good planning....:)

I went last year. Really good time. It made the late 80's not feel that long ago. It also reminded me how obnoxious Haro and Vision clothing was.

If I wasn't going to be out of town this weekend I'd definitely go. I have an old Sting frame with some lavender Peregrines that's itching to spin some kickturns. Xd-up. Can-can.

The Faction will be BBQing at the skatepark!!! Hot dogs, chips and Full Throttle will be available, additional refreshments are available at the park.
- Admission to the park/BBQ: $3.00
- BBQ Session at JSAW: 12 noon- 5pm September 16th
- BRING YOUR BIKES!!!!
- Bring your pop up tents and tables for the museum and swap meet
- 9000 sq ft park
- Full basketball court for display and flatland area
- Bring your helmet and right gear if you are going to ride, JSAW also has helmet rentals

"JSAW offers a variety of xtreme sports. We offer Skateboarding, Inline Skating, Scooters, and BMX bikes at our facilities. Each activity has an admission fee. Fees vary based on day, time and membership status. Our 9,000 square foot skatepark featurs numerous quarterpipes, roll-in ramps, a huba ramp, euro ramp and bump-to-bump ramps, including square and round grind rails. JSAW Xtreme also includes a large six-foot, half pipe mini-ramp. Our goal is to do enough fund raising and get enough sponsors to keep our fees very low. We rely on donations to make JSAW possible."

I rode my 20 inch out there with my son, and though we arrived late, we still had a blast. It was nice to ride on some decent ramps and get my old bod into the vert again. I didn't clear coping on them but its been a long time since I've done much of that at all.
