i rode spirit today for the first time on my home from the north shore. i had posted last week to see if there was a map, and ppl said that it was extremely difficult to find the singletrack up there. i drove into the parking lot that you use for the main chalet, climbed up the run right there, and found the singletrack immediately. i had some serious fun up there. mad props to buck and all the others who helped to make this awesome trail. one question though... where do you guys climb up? i just went straight up the run where the terrrain park is in the winter, and it was a serious climb! i did to it 3 times though so i thought it was worth it.
thanks bros for building a sick trail:etard:
We usually ride up on the access roads along the bottom, go either way and you'll hit a road that leads up, jump on that and start pedallin'!
Thanks for the props! It wasn't just me I had a killer crew backin' me up! PK, Thor, Beedy, B-Rad were right there sling dirt with me!
Glad you had a good time!

yo buck, i'm going to be comming through duluth again on my way to canada in the middle of october and i'd be sick to ride a few laps up there with you if your around?? you gonna be up there?
p.s. you know anything about riding in thunder bay?
I don't live in Duluth any more, but if it works with my schedule I can see what I can do. I've been spending alot of time building down in Red Wing actually.
Yes there is awesome riding in T-bay. There are some guys that post here occasionally from up that way. Hopefully they see this, or as it gets closer remind and I'll get ya in touch with them!
Thanks!
Buck

yea that'd be tight, the trip up there started out as a boozing weekend for my buddies, but when i heard they were heading up i decided that id find out if i could ride up there if im not too hungover.(were all 19/20 yrs old) so thats the reason for canada. but as long as im up there might as well make the most of it. tell me when your comming to red wing and ill meet you up there, i live like a mile away from memorial.

after the powdermonkey xc race there this summer, coggs left some yellow arrows and their signs w/ coggs logo up at the intersections in the singletrack. if this is the trail you followed, you should send them an email @ chair@coggs.com, thanking them for building the singletrack at spirit. [or send the emial to me and i'll pass it thru the coggs email list.]
