Hey that looks like fun! I think I'll have to go tommorow! Did it sound like your bike was going to break in half off that ladder in the trees near the top? I hit it REALLY fast on labor day and came within a few bike lengths from the flat - scarry as #@&*, but it was the only time i've hit it without my glory sounding like it was going to rip in half. you can just hear bikes falling apart off that from the lift. the landing could stand to be a bit steeper. Brian, the bloke that builds most of the stunts up there has a few screws loose. not that they are really big (the hidden ones are) but they are just sketch and lack flow, but I can't complain, he does alot of work and without him, there would not be any trails up there. ....HOLY CRAP - I just looked at your name - MIKE! I haven't seen you in ages! I wish somehow I would have known you were going to be in my (new) neck of the woods!!! when were you in Bozeman / Big Sky?! I wish I would have run into you guys. I like the video, can't wait too see more. Looks like you guys even got some decent trail conditions (for big sky) - doesn't look too dusty. You guys should come out here again and let me know.

Here's a few more shots of big sky. A sequence of Tyler over a secret gap at Big Sky (he makes it look so much bigger cause he's so little!) and one of me off a little booter on keyhole. just wanted to share...

Wow, long time no talk Steve. We were out there in early July which is why it wasn't so dusty. My roommate just got back from riding big sky, wyoming, and utah and he said it was crazy dusty. They've also changed that first ladder since I was there, angled the end up a bit.
Probably won't be out again 'till next year but we'll definatly have to get together and ride if you're still out there.

Two derailleurs later... I'm back up at big sky screaming down the hollywood trail, front tire misses the burm, around a corner it flies off the edge, I'm bear huggin this tree like a school girl in love. My friend comes around the corner see's me about 10 feet off the ground and starts laughin his a$$ off only to miss the same burm drop his bike off the same ledge and we both drop to the ground laughin at each other's dumb a$$. Friends are great.
How do you get enough speed to clear some of those drops/gaps/hucks/evil kaneeval trip stunts without killing your self at least once? For those XC riders like myself, stick to the hills out there and hope you never have to helio anyone's arse out of there.
Funn part was taking a road bike to the mountain pass and then flying down the whole thing while passing cars going about 50+mph at points.
