Did he get booted or what??

He requested his account be deleted vs. filling out his full name. Go figure.

I hope the rest of you cool trials dudes hang in here. Hate to see anyone leave over something that trivial.

Whats the big deal? Everyone knows his name.
J**N G*D*O :p

Maybe the gov'ts after him and he doesnt want to be tracked.:eyeroll:

Yea, I don't know... some people are funny about the name thing. Of course someone signed up using his same email address yesterday under a different name... (nice try) ;)

Most have gotten over this so hopefully he'll be back.

I guess I just think that the less information I have open to everyone the safer I am. Call me crazy but there are alot of crazy people on the internet. With just a first name viewable people only know my name is Dave. With a last name and a city they know my address and where to find me. Just my opinion.

Its everyone's right to decide to have their account removed as did John G.

Sorry, but we can't have any exceptions. We all hope you will decide to follow the few simple rules we have here and continue on with the fun.

Sorry, but we can't have any exceptions.

If that's the case, I'd like to see TODAY that EVERYONE with partial names be deleted.

This has been the most half ass implemented 'policy' I have ever seen. If you want a policy then quit picking and choosing when you decide to use it and do it all at once to everyone.

How about you spend your volunteer time and do it then.

I've been working on it slowly... but this is not my F)#($* full time job. How about giving me a break for once. You think I like having to be the "bad guy" ? I'm *trying* to implement this policy while personally going to each person and asking them for their help in complying. I feel people at least deserve that much - even those that don't agree with it. This is a MORC policy, not MY policy....

I'm not asking for thanks.. but I wonder sometimes if people realize how much work is involved just keeping this web site and forums running...

Buck

Its not you I am frustrated with, its the whole policy. I don't agree with it one single bit. I think the blame lies on the MORC board, myself being on that board shares that blame, that's cool, I get blamed for stuff all the time.

you on the other hand...

hahaha, john, I give ya huge props for running this site, its kicks ass, lets be honest here. We (the board) pretty much dumped this on your shoulders, I don't think that was really right either.
