Is there a bikeshop that rents booths with tools so I can maintain/repair my own bike? Thanks in advance, kEnN

Freewheel has shop rental space with tools. $10/hr. I think. West bank of UMN campus. freewheelbike.com

The Hub does the same thing, not sure of the price. Two locations, one adjacent to Freewheel, the other on Minnehaha 612 238 3593.

Depends on just how much time you need, but...

The Greasepit, a bike coop of some kind, is also on Cedar Ave, right near Freewheel and just down the street from the Hub. Check out their website here:

It's actually free and quite well stocked with tools, 3 work stands, and a lot of very well used bike parts and friendly wrenches that can give you advice and help if you need it. They simply ask for a very small donation, barter of some kind, or for a work trade (i.e., helping some of the local neighborhood kids out with their bikes for a little time).

Only problem, they are going to have to move out of their current premises in a month or two and they are usually only open for about 3 hours per day.

P.S. The Hub charges $5.00 per hour at the Minnehaha Ave location only
