Usually I jump all over a chance to ride Memorial, but after doing the 24 of afton yesterday I wont be riding today, maybe next weekend though.

I'm assuming that if you're up on the bluff you could hook up with someone. I'm out of town pretty much all day until this evening (might plug in the lights for the first time this year) otherwise I'd be down.

I'm assuming a couple of us will be someplace doing some work on Tuesday. And if there isn't 4" of rain, we'll be riding at 6:30 on Thursday.

Ryan, I hate to spend other people's money but buy yourself some lights and let all do a night right, name a night of the week and we can do an 830 ride or so. Isaac let me know what night you are thinking also.

How about zero. I've got two setups. When out by myself I run them both as neither is that great by itself, but both are enough to work by themselves for at least a lap - at least a lap that might not include Stairway or the Quarry. You'd be welcome to try one of them out for a while (or at least once if they aren't enough for you).

I went out and started my lap at about 8 or so. Was done at about 9 or so and still had light. Man, the trail is different. And I found WAY more challenging. Probably would start at 8:30 or so next time. Once bowhunting starts I like to wait until 30 minutes after sunset before starting out of respect for the hunters. So then it's all pitch black....

what time do you start work? I know at least one other rider that works nights, and my schedule if fairly flexible, so maybe an 830 AM morning group ride would be a possibility.

I finally got my homebrew lights on and working. I did a test ride with them on Sunday and they were still shining after an hour (although not so brightly).
So I am ready for a night ride.

I would advocate a ride tonight but I think with the rain we are getting it will be sloppy

I would guess tonight is going to be sloppy.
Tuesday after trailwork ? (I might not be able to make this one, though)
Wednesday night?

Yeah... tonight might not be the best... We aren't going to have official trailwork tomorrow (Gus has family stuff) so unless anyone else wants to work on the trail, I would be up for either one good night lap, or one day and one night lap... I probably only have 1-1.5 hours of lighting too, so definately not up for any night epic yet.

Edit: actually.. I'll probably plan on riding both nights, but lets make the night ride be on Wednesday at least this week.

ben- if you want to do a morning ride i dont work monday mornings so a 8:30 or 9 ride would work for me, im up north til next monday night, so in two weeks we could start a morning ride mondays??

depending on what time you start work, we should maybe try for 10ish so we can keep going into hunting season. Or we can deal with that when the time comes.
