Labor Day Weekend ride?

Is anyone up for riding on Saturday or Sunday of Labor Day weekend? I have a cabin in Bovey and I would love to get a ride in while I am up there. I don't know where any trails are up there, I am hoping some people can take me out and show me one.

Hi Joel!

We have just started a Morc chapter Mesabi Mountain Bikers in Grand Rapids. We have some trails that members had previously developed that we have been trying to keep clear and there have been some group rides on them, none scheduled so far for the holiday weekend that I am aware. What I would do is check in with the bike shop (Itasca Trail Sports in Grand Rapids) for info on trail location if anything. Your posting might get a response for riding hopefully otherwise. I am on call so can't venture to far from the truck or phone.

I don't know what my plans are for the weekend yet but if i am in the area I would love to go out for a ride. I grew up outside of Bovey so I know some of the Mine pit trails. But it has been a few years since I have been on them.
