I was planning on going to Marquette over labor day but my friend bailed on me. So I would definately go there. I also have a big rig that is highly underutilized....

they thought they would stay open till the second week in oct. they also planned on having a new dual slalom trial open by now. should be worth the trip for sure.
not sure on other people, most those I ride with are not huge on the hucking and subsequently aren't too excited to drive that far.
so other people, consider this your engraved invitation.

I have the 3rd, 4th, and 5th to do some biking. I was thinking the Marquette area would be worth at least two days (benson, mqt montain, mqt area single track) to justify the drive. I wouldn't mind hitting duluth (spirit, zoo, andy's suggestions...) on the way up or back either (coming from mpls).

and by the way my rig weighs 57 lbs so I am looking forward to the lifts - and maybe hitting cliff huckstable or double bertha

I'll send a pm. 57 lbs huh that's impressive. I will be bringing a 40lb Kona Colier.
4th and 5th sounds good. I'm up for lifts or whatever (I haven't been there yet, but I've heard that Benson is better than the lifts). I'll bring a small tent then or something.
Is anyone else in er what??
