About to purchase MORC jersey. I wear a 40' L sport coat with 32' waist. What size would be in the middle of TDF tight and rapper-like loose? I am thinking a medium but enlighten me please!!!

We haven't had enough individual orders to be able to put together another order of our jerseys. I have heard from people on our group rides that want to order though, and they want the green original MORC logo jersey.
If we get I think 15 people interested we could put in a new order.
As for size, these things run plenty big. I'm guessing a medium would fit you just fine.

You can order there, the money goes into Paypal and once we get the minimum we will place an order.
It might be good to be sure we have enough people before actually placing an order just to be sure. Its been a while, but I'm fairly certain we would have enough to get another order placed.
Our jerseys seem to run a half size large, or even a size large for those who like them Euro-tight.

As a rule, the MORC jerseys run 2 sizes larger. I like a "club fit" medium (just slightly loose, not skin tight) which is equivalent to a MORC xs.

I only heard from about 5 people so far that would order a jersey.
I know we've talked about doing new ones. Many have requested the old green style even with the potential of a new one.
If we have enough interest we can easily place one more order for the now collectors edition classic MORC green jersey. They increase in value by 25% the minute you buy one!

Hopefully, I won't "grow into" a bigger size for a while.

I saw a couple orders come through this morning. For those who have spoken up and want jerseys, please place them using this link:
http://www.morcmtb.org/morcpages/merch.htm
If we get them cheaper than listed, we'll find a way to reimburse the difference. Normally with small/short orders they are a bit more expensive.
This is probably your last chance to get one of the classics!

Hmmm.. tough one. I'm thinking if a large is long enough thats the way you would want to go. We usually order a few extras to exchange for people who get the wrong sizes.
Maybe someone who has one that is around your size can give better info.

I'm 6'3" and a built like a fat linebacker. I have a longer body and I have just enough length in the jersey. This may be partly due to the beer gut. If you are a longer body, you may not have the length. I would try to locate some people with large and xlarge jerseys and try them on just in case.

Just bumping this up... for those new to this thread, I renamed it to bring more attention to the fact that we are putting together another order of the classic green MORC jerseys. We have about 5-6 and need 16 to order. You can go to the MORC merchandise page to place your order. I was notified that we could get our jerseys in as few as 6 weeks if we get our order in soon.
This just might be the last chance to get one of these model jerseys. Someday we may have a new model with the new logo... but I know a lot of you who want the "classic" model. They will be a real collectors item... I hear they could go upwards of $10k each on eBay.
(ok, maybe not.. but I like to dream....)

We have had some people order up jerseys, but we don't have quite enough orders to place entire order with the vendor.
I realize its getting too cold out for jerseys, but this is a great time to get gifts and/or pick up a jersey in time for spring... show your colors off at Fruita during the MORC jersey ride etc.

I usually wear a "club fit" medium or a "race fit" large and based on my closet full of jerseys from various makers, the MORC jersey runs 2 sizes larger than the equivalent "club fit" and 3 sizes larger than the equivalent "race fit". You can go to your LBS and find a jersey that fits and pick your MORC jersey accordingly. The MORC XS fits how I like it. I also have a S that I can wear over a heavier jersey (or body).
Hope that's helpful.

Ok, I am going through the jersey orders from last year and making a final count.
If anyone wants one of the MORC "classic" jerseys this is your last week to order. We will probably never place another order for this particular jersey, and there are no current plans to design a new one, so now is your chance. Just go to the merchandise page and place your order.
If you have already ordered and wanted to change your size or have spoken to me about changing your size, please PM me so I can be sure I have the correct information. It has been a while so I cannot remember who wanted to modify their orders.
Once I get permission from lady MORC money we'll get this order placed so we have these by spring. (sorry Fruita people, we probably won't get them in time for the fest...)

Is the classic jersey you speak of the only one on the MORC merchandise page correct? The one labeled on that page as the New MORC jersey and with the last order being placed in 2005. I'm thinking I should get one of these but wanted to make sure I was ordering from the correct page. Also size is a bit difficult for me, I'm a big guy so I'm thinking an XL but really hard to say, I've never owned a bike jersey or even tried one on to see how they fit, just wore tshirts so not exaclty sure what to do in the size area.

Okay you asked so here's too much information: height is 6 foot even but the weight is negotiable ;) Currently I weight in at 248 pounds but am still dieting and looking to lose about 20 more before the end of April when my weight loss competition is over and biking becomes my method of weight maintenance, therefore probably be around 225-235 hopefully. Not sure this would help but I have a build that a body composition says I'd weight 197 at 0% body fat, therefore I would put myself on the larger frame side. Basically I wore XL shirts from the latter years of high (1998) school till about 1 year ago when I enlarged to XXL therefore being back at fighting weight I'm leaning on the XL side for a jersey I think as I'd rather have it be loose fitting, I'm not the most comfortable person at any weight in a tight fitting shirt, by product of many years of being the big boy in the group.

I was just referring to the fact that I used to ride a cheap mountain bike wearing bball shorts, a tshirt riding with platforms and one bike helmet a little more than a year ago. Now I've got actual bike shorts for comfort, clipless pedals, homebrew lights, camelpak for biking, and two helmets and have been losing weight with 50% of the reason behind losing weight being to get better at riding and try and maintain middle of the pack during group rides....and now a jersey. I'm even considering trying to commute to work and possibly pick up a road bike if I can find one cheap enough to use for "training" in April for the trails.
MORC if definatly a great group that for me has really gotten me into this sport just by helping with any and all of the questions I've had and providing a social/encouraging atmosphere that is fantastic, I'll definatly be renewing my membership for many many many years to come and will wear a MORC jersey with pride.

Just got an update. Our MORC jersey order will ship the week of May 21st.
Sorry we're a bit late with this one, but people should have them just in time for things to start heating up out there...
I'll post up when they arrive....

Just got word that LG is shipping our jerseys today and we should see them in 3-4 business days!
I will have to coordinate how to distribute the jerseys. Most likely at the Leb parking lot before/after trailwork or group rides and this coming weekend.
If you were one of the people who contacted me about getting one of our extras, we have not received any payment for any jerseys. At this point we will make sure those who ordered get theirs and have the option to change sizes, then I will post up how many extras we have avialable.... and it will be first to pay gets em'.

So I wear a medium in most brands (specialized, pear izumi, suguoi ect..). What size would I be in these? I hear very mixed results on how they fit.

For a MORC jersey, probably a small. They tend to run about a size or a half-size bigger than most people are used too. We went for a loose fit, however.
Speaking of odd fits... I recently tried to get a BMC jersey (Vermark brand). I wear a Large morc jersey and its a bit big on me. I bought an XXL of the BMC jersey and it was still WAY too tight. The thing even zipped up on the wrong side. F#)($* Europeans.... ;)

I'll bring them to the group ride tonight - your window is between about 5:50 and 6:20... then we gotta ride.
I'll post up the next availability later on... i'm in a hurry to get these things tagged and get my bike ready etc.
Will have to pick one up on Tuesday, or if your riding this weekend....

Sorry I didn't know there was a separate thread for this. Is it possible to get them at the Spring Cup?
gopherhockey

I'll definitely make them available this weekend somewhere. Most likely Spring Cup. Look for more info here soon...
BTW: I *think* I will have quite a few XL and L extras, but not a lot of any other sizes.

There is a 99.9% chance I'll be at the spring cup race tomorrow and so I will bring the jerseys with. I would imagine hanging out around the MORC tent with them would be best. I'll maybe hang one up to signal that they are available.
It would be great to have people pick them up if possible. Another chance will be this Tuesday at trailwork and again on Tursday at the group ride. (weather pending)
After that I may start shipping them out to people as time permits.

All remaining jerseys are being shipped out on Tuesday. You should have them in a few days.
Jason Hilde - I'm looking for you to be sure I have your correct address.
We will have a few extras, but not a lot. Mostly medium it appears. I want to wait until the people who ordered have a chance to swap out if they want, then I'll let everyone know what we have left.
