Just trying to get the word out there... On Sunday, August 6th someone stole my 20" Standard Bykes Trailboss from my apartment parking garage in Burnsville.
There is a CASH reward for info leading to its return, here is some info on it...

Brand: Standard Bykes Company (SBC or S.I.)
Model: Trailboss
Size: XL (21" TT)
Color: Flat "Army" Green
SBC Fork (silver)
Profile 3pc cranks (silver)
Redline pedals (silver)
Haro 'Atomic' Chainwheel (black)
Primo Hemmeroid Seat (black)
Haro Kneesaver II handlebars (silver)
Black grips
Oddysey Gyro II

I can safely say this is a rare bike, I seriously doubt there are any others in the state. Its very unique and very noticable, like I said I would really like to get it back and am offering a CASH reward for information leading to its return. I will try and post some pics later when I get a chance, thanks in advance.

very sorry about your bike. some words of advice, based on past experience.

bike theft is a crime of opportunity. the person who stole it probably doesn't live very far from you. hence, there's a good chance you or someone you know might see the bike around. keep your eyes peeled for it wherever you go.

file a police report. as soon as possible. make sure the police report has a record of the bike's serial number and as much detail as possible. if you do find the bike, you'll need this to get it back.

distribute a description of your bike, a photo (if possible) and the serial number to all of the bike shops in a 10-mile radius from your location. pawn shops, too.

good luck. i hope you get it back.

I've posted up on the MNBMX forums, a 'stolen' ad on craigslist, filed a police report with the Burnsville PD and also hung up some posters around my apartment building where it was stolen from. I know the likelihood of it ever returning is pretty slim but I also know this is a rare/unique bike so I hope someone might see something, eventually. Thanks for keeping an eye out.

Might be worth stopping by a couple local pawn shops and letting them know. Jerks who steal bikes usually aren't very bright. They'll take the path of least resistance trying to unload it. Good luck getting it back.
