IMBA's Trail Care Crew will make a visit to Battle Creek Regional Park in St. Paul, MN on August 25th & 26th

The two day event offers MORCers the chance to learn trail designing and building from the best in the business. Registration is free and lunch will be provided both days. However, there are a limited number of spots available so reserve your spot ASAP.

Damn...it's too bad that the 24 @Afton is at the same time. That would be cool to be at. Maybe I'll feel alright to get out of bed on Sun.

There are still spots availiable for the Trail School on August 25th and 26th.

No previous Trail School experiance is required! If you have ever wanted to learn how to build trails this is your chance!

This should be yet another good school put on by the folks from IMBA.

We will be adding entirely new singletrack in a previously unutilized portion of Battle Creek Park.

Come on out and be a part of it!

This sucks...I had a kitchen pass all worked out with my wife so I could attend, and I was then informed by my mother that my presence was expected in Kansas City that weekend for my stepdad's suprise 60th birthday party....

What a great first day at the IMBA trail school. Great classroom learning, and a really cool new section of trail being added to Battle Creek, complete with a rock wall ride that will make for some nice techincal features.

I'm sure pictures will be posted soon.

How is the new trail coming along? Where is it at?

It still does not connect to anything. It will eventually connect the Mounds Park overlook with the Hwy 61 parking area. Still A LOT of work to do. We may be ~1/5 of the way finished. It will be cool when it's done. Come out on Monday evenings (5:30) and help the trail crew. We have a couple of more repair areas to deal with and then we'll be moving onto the new trail again.
