View Full Version : Rear Shock Covers: Opinions?

On rear shock covers? Similar to this Lizard Skins version. Are they helpful on keeping the shock clean? Will it prolong wear life?

I find they just do a good job of keeping the sand and dirt in when it get's in there (and it will find it's way in there).

I prefer not to run boots on any shock, simply because it makes it hard to tell if any dirt or grit got inside it. Once inside the boot, it will not come out. I don't like that idea.

My opinion is that I think this thread is a good example of the reason that we were all asked to use more descriptive titles for our threads :p
