I purchased an 07 Specialized stuntjumper at Erics. I tried a size medium and large frame. At the time I liked the feel of the large size. When I got it home, I realized how much bigger it is than my current and am thinking about switching it for the medium size. Does anyone have a recomendation what frame size would be best for me. I'm 5'10", 170 lbs. Any feedback is appreciated.

18" Im roughly the same height and 18" frames from Specialized fit me very well. Also depends on your reach and inseam. What i suggest doing is heading back with the bike and have them measure you and see what the outcome is. Most people can fit a few sizes. You would be able to fit a 17-19" range pretty easy so a large is not out of the questions by any means. Have em measure you up.

Agreed, I'm 5'10'' and 165 I have two 17.5" bikes and anything larger than that would be a reach for me.:etard:

Take it back and make those guys give you a fitting! That's the least they can do when you're forking over $'s for a new bike.

I'm 5'10" and have size 17" and 17.5" bikes. The 18" bikes I have tried (Trek) have felt too big. I'd guess M would be better, especially if you'll be doing a lot of trail riding. But like was said, have the shop measure you - that's what they get paid to do.

I'm 5'11" (almost) and my 19" Stumpjumper fits great.
I would think 18" would be just about perfect for you.
