There will be no course checkout today. Doug, Troy and whoever else was coming, please get back to me on a date that we can get this done. Thanks.

Okay.

No go for tonight. I talked to John Reents yesterday. I'll probably call him again today just to touch base and let him know we're rescheduling.

I will make whatever time work. I should be able to take some time off of work next monday or tuesday in order to fit it in. Preferrably early morning.

Are you guys referring to the 24 hour course or something else?
If you guys are talking about teh 24 hour course, what is the typical mileage?

Tues. works better for me. It gives me a day of rest from 2hrs of hockey on Sunday night. We'll see how the other Troy weigh's in.

Yes. 24 hour course. Mileage is usually around 7.5 I believe.

We can go with tuesday. I think John R has a junior golf league in the morning but we could probably find a time before it or something. I'll check in with him on the time of that.

I'm game to be out there as early as 7 AM but I'm guessing it'll be more like 7:30 if we catch John before his golf deal. I should be back to work by around 11.

I'd like to be there to point out the modfications we've been working over the past couple weeks. We've made some slight modifcations to a 180 in the flats of soundbound crossing, devised a new line on the Shady Lane climb which will minimize switchback erosion, and most significantly created a new short but sweet technical rocky section in the Birchwood lane area.

Thanks to John and Afton and my LCR/ Ricoh sisters (Doug, Dave, Pete, Paul, & Jack) for helping out and taking the lead on the improvements!!!

If I can't make it just follow the red arrows and the path of the most pain...

That'd be great if you could make it out Larry. Otherwise, we'll catch up with you later.

Thank you to Troy L., Doug H. and Tower for meeting this morning for the course review. It will be another great 24hr race again this year. If you think of anything that needs to be addressed, contact, me or Larry S. or call John R. at Afton. It was good riding with you all and we'll see ya down in the valley.

Do people really ride all 24 hours? Wouldn't that mean they have to ride at night?

Yes, and yes. At night, it's all about the $650 lighting systems. With that, it's really not hard to ride at night.
