Even with the heat. It's basically supposed to rain for 24-32 hours straight starting after midnight tonight.

I rode yesterday from my house, down through Fort Snelling and the dirt road down there to Lebanon, 2 laps, back home same way. 47 miles. It was a great ride.

I don't know what is more hard-core - riding this far in near 100 degree heat, or riding in the middle of winter around 0 or below.

Maybe its safe to just say that most Minnesota riders are just downright crazy  ;)

Officially 100 degrees:shocked: ....may chicken out tonight, have a beer and watch the Twinkies inside instead.

We are planning on meeting at the Lyndale lot at 6:30 pm and riding west to Bloomington Ferry Bridge Road and back. Anyone who wants to join in, go for it. Sorry for the late...late notice.

Was definately a hot ride tonight... starting at 5:00 and ending about 7:30 or so... I was actually feeling better on my third lap (though I only made it up half of stairway) but decided that if I was starting to see things that I may have started to be a little overheated.

Was fun to put together three different laps (each one with a big climb or two in it). Hopefully I won't be able to ride for a few days.... we NEED rain pretty much statewide.
