Looking for a small packable multi tool for the trail. It should be compatible with the following and a spare tube.

Any other recommendations?

It does not have a chain tool, but I really like this one since it is very compact.

I too have a Alien 2. Its been there everytime I have needed it. Although I do bring 2 of the plastic tire levers with me cuz the ones on the tool are undersized for me.

If you're from Minnesota, you should always buy Park Tools just because they are made here. They're also the best. Go to a bike shop and see for yourself.:etard:

I second the vote for the Alien II. Has everything I need, compact, and $25 online. Can't go wrong. The chain tool on there works better than the dedicated chain tool I bought a while back. I also like the little storage area for chain pins.

Have two Alien II, want one? and a crankbrothers mulit-something. All have worked great. If I have one complaint is that the crankbrothers tool does not have a knife.

my crank brothers has everything that I have ever needed to work on my bike.

i am also in love with every product that those guys make....they seem to care a lot about design and function (reminds me of Apple in that regard).....

alien 2 here. bring some tire levers tho, and the 15 mm pedal wrench is only good in a pinch...

but yea, bought it on the recommendation of a trusted bike mechanic and my roomie and i both run these now with no regrets.
