New trails increase sales for bike stores?

Articles like this can only help organizations like us. Maybe it will encourage more retailers to chip in to the cycling advocacy effort..

While I agree that new trails do have an effect on sales, i strongly believe that having employees that ride and love the sport are much more apt to sell bikes than walking into a shop where they dont ride. I do well in the shop side of things and enjoy it very much because i ride, love the sport, love building trails and the list could go on and on.........
