8AM....KKrew headed out from s minneapolis through minnehaha and did the fort snelling 'homie fall fest' trails, then did the hike a stairs to the st paul side. 'crosby farms' hadn't been ridden in awhile, but 12 tough guys made a route and then repeated it. did the trek to 'leb' for a couple of laps. parking lot was full, but half the people were in lawn chairs. mixed crowd, bmx'rs with broken chains and no helmets, full boingers with full armor (?), a top XC racer (with us), families with buggers....weird. over to 'terrace oaks' for a couple, which is a lot easier then I remember. that and the anoka trail were the only singletrack in town when i started off roading. crossed back over the cedar bridge and did the 'river bottoms' which was in pretty good shape, but had no traffic. rolled over to edina to do the 'gravel grinder' climb. half of the group headed back to the start to order ted cook ribs for the pig out and the rest went to 'wirth' for a hot lap and headed back for chow and BELLS OBERON...730PM.
there were 8 29'rs, 3 MTB's and 1 cross bike

Yeah, kinda similar. It looks like you were on the road a little more than us. We went over to Crosby Farm and plowed throught the sand a couple of times after the Fort Snelling/dog park area. We also crossed at Cedar and did the bottoms from that point (east to west). It was about 114-116 miles depending on the odometer, and about half off road. The ribs and beer were sweet. Next year we can add MH and then it will be epic. I would like to skip Crosby, because it's crap since nobody rides it anymore. Add MH and it would still be about 115-120 miles.
I forgot, we did 2 laps at Salem/Harmon too.

Please tell me that the avatar is a mock-up. It's hilarious either way but there's no way that is real, is there? Then again . . .

Funniest avatar I've seen yet either way.

Your one day of riding is a month's worth for most of us.

I was wondering about Harmon.

We skipped the dirt at the Falls and Crosby, we also could have gone and done the Lilydale Lungbuster on the south side of the river west of Highbridge. I also am looking foward to including MH in next years tour and try and slide in BC and Mounds Park Also. It will be a very easy link together once the have the other span of the Wakota Bridge done since it will have a Bike lane.

My photoshop eye tells me that's a mockup. Mainly the phone cord itself looks really bad.
