8'' rotor

So i have an 8" rotor on my back wheel. Whenever i brake it creeks and pulls on the spokes. Is this going to damage the wheel soon? should i switch over to a 6"? Thanks for any help!:banana:

Only if the spokes are not tensioned properly. While you can debate whether or not an 8" rotor is necessary for most MN trails, you should have a LBS look at your rear wheel to make sure everything is OK.

There is no reason why the wheel should creak if your rear wheel is in good shape.
