It is official. MORC met with and presented to the Inver Grove Heights city commissioners last night. They gave us an endorsement to build the trails and apply for a DNR grant. No one objected to building the trails and one property owner whose land is adjacent to the park spoke up in favor of building the trails. This one was very important to us since this will be one of two locations for the IMBA crew this summer for the HotSpots program. Thanks for everyone that helped us work this one out.
MORC really is a fantastic advocacy group. We are lucky to have such a strong mountain biking group working on trail access and building trails in the metro.
