Does anyone have a trail map or more information on the YMCA camp trails in Monticello?

Hi Tim, I received your email also, thought I would respond on the forum! This spring I cleared all the down trees on the Manitou trail. The trail is about 10 miles of cool singletrack. The trail is marked by white arrow signs, most are BLAST signs, but some of the intersections are marked with my 'homebrew' white signs, if the BLAST signs have fallen down. I try to keep the trail marked at all intersections. The Manitou trail is a 'BLAST' trail, and last fall BLAST was planning on clearing the trail this summer and bringing it back to its former glory! At present, the trail is very overgrown and needs a proper brush mowing. I would check with BLAST to find out about trail work days they have planned. Here's the link: http://www.bikeblast.com/

Kevin and I need to plan a trailwork day for every trail to clear the over growth. What days would work best for you Paul? If you can help that is.

Hi Ryan,
I'll definitely try to make any trail day you guys schedule at Monti. so I think, just schedule your dates, and I'll surely try to make it. Basically, as you know, the trail needs to be brush mowed/weed mowed. I don't personally have a weed/brush mower, so I would think my help at this point would be following through, after someone brushed out an area, and clear the face slappers. I've put in some heavy hours this spring clearing the trees, so its basically just mowing that needs to be done.
