Great day up on the bluff (7/4)

Thanks Buck for coming down for more wicked trail building. Porter was on his rigid singlespeed and did the CF jumps... they worked wonderfully as he was in the woods after the first jump/drop/etc. Hope that hand isn't too swollen.

Saw a record number of riders out there today I think (at least for me). It's still a tiny number compared to the Leb-heads, but it was sweet seeing people traveling up from Winona or down from the Cities and having fun on the trails. Thanks to all those who stopped to say hello and thanks!

The work/ride today though did curtail my plans of following up the fireworks watching with a nice night ride. I'm bushed.

the mrs and i rode a lap then she headed home and i did another including a walk/ride down then up the downhill-looks good but i dont expect to be riding it anytime-thanks for all the work up there

Isaac, thanks for riding another lap with me. You're a trooper. I also did a couple laps on the SS on Wed. morning(I included Stairway for those laps). They were good laps but I was really pushing hard on Stairway and the climb out of the Quarry. I'm thinking I may want to go with a 34x20 gearing if I races SS for the race. Always good to see ya and thanks again.

Myfirst time at memorial in 7 years. That trail is a lot of fun. It reminds me a lot of mammoth, but has much greater verical change. I went down the "expert only" trail with the big drops. It is humbling to have to get off your bike and walk it down the trail:sick:
