Anyone have any experience with the Fox Float RP23 rear shock? I am thinking about upgrading from my 2002 Float RL. I read that they had a lot of problems with the past models leaking but that they had got things worked out.

They are actually one of the best rears Fox has done in a long time. All the troubles have been fixed. Super light and preform very well.

Thanks for the info. Is it worth the extra $120 to have a "factory tuned" shock from Push?

That depends upon how your shock is currently riding. If it is new then most likely not as important as if were a few years old and things are starting to wear out. I would say spend the extra $ if your shock is a season or two old.
As a side note:
I have been extreamly happy with PUSH and their customer service even though I have not seen my fork back for some time now, but they are addressing a major mechanical flaw in the machining tolerance from fox on the lowers. Fox is also helping out on the a backup fork that was waiting for if the first ever went down as it has a diviot in the sanction leg right above the seal. I'm able to ride this one damaged fork and once the original is back return this one for replacement.

They are great, just alot of adjustment, ment for on the fly travel. I do kinda liked the idea of the Rp3 better without the extra settings, keep things simple.
Tested on a new spider.

Rather than buying a new shock I had mine rebuilt and upgraded (with the latest pro-pedal parts) by Push. What a difference! For $150 I have a new shock. Their service is incredible.
