Terrace Trail Work 6/20

Trail work Tuesday 6/20 6pm Terrace Oaks East parking lot.

We will be cutting back the overgrowth on the trail as well as beginning the reclamation of the re-routed sections. Come early if you wanna ride and hang out! Bring some gloves, water and wear long trousers, tools will be provided.

Rode there today. Just before the last climb to the exit there is a large multbranched tree laying across the trail. Yup i did run into it. I was coming down the hill at a great speed and looked up and there it was!!!!

I think you could cut it up with a bow saw if you don't have a chain saw handy.

Doug, I took care of the down tree with my bow saw. It was in a very dangerous spot.

Just a reminder for trailwork tonight. If its raining like crazy consider it cancelled. If its just a sprinkle, we'll still be out there.

We got a little over half of the overgrowth cut back tonight. Big thanks to John M and Ted F for giving me a hand. No rain until it began to sprinkle in the lot as we were leaving. Trail is in great shape get out and ride!
