This week we will be meeting in the lower lot on Pt. Douglas road.

We will be hauling and staging rock for the further armoring of the Matterhorn Turn and the final section of the Wall of Death downhill.

If anyone can come earlier, say around 4:00 PM please let me know. We will start earlier and get one load of rocks from Jeff's house, to the trailhead, ready to be hauled.

Gloves are highly recommended this week as we will be handling a lot of stone.

Hope to see another great crew out there!!

Troy,

PM me the details on how to get to Jeff's house, I can meet you there around 4 to help load. I've got another meeting on Monday evening.

That'd be great you guys! With the four of us to load at Jeff's place it'll work out perfectly.

I'll PM you directions to Jeff's place once I confirm a plan with him.

Thanks!!

Once again, I will be there later in the evening....

Looks like we should have good weather. And thankfully, it's a little less humid than earlier this weekend!

James and Eric, I will PM you directions to Jeff's house.

Count me in for tonight. It will be my first time helping out. BC is my off-road training turf, so I feel obligated. You guys do a great job!

Thanks to everyone that showed up tonight! We had another night of hard work and some pretty cool trail armoring to show for it.

I'm anxious to ride it now and see how it is. And as always, I'm curious to see how it'll hold up after a few months. I've got a feeling it'll be pretty bombproof. We've managed to divert almost all of the water that had been running through that section.

Thanks again everyone!

We'll be working again next week to do final touches on the turn and possibly splitting up and de-berming another section of trail as well. Watch for the new post later in the week.

Also, if anyone has a machete, please bring it! There are thorny raspberry bushes that are growing out onto the trail in Fern Gully....they're in need of some pruning.
