This summer will begin the reconstruction of the Rock Lake Trail. We were there in December and what an exciting route the forester has begun to lay out. We plan on building the trail over the next 2 summers. The total mileage will be 16 miles. The new trail leads through some terrific terrain and in to areas of the forest that I have never seen before. The new trail will be built to sustainable standards and will be mostly intermediate in difficulty. Our plan is to begin construction on June7th and continue for 10 days. We hope to have 8 miles done when we leave. The CAMBA group will be doing the finish work on the trail and could definitely use some help from those of us that like to ride the trails in that area.
