Anyone doing the TT on Sheppard next Wed? I just signed up and will be riding down to Sheppard from my house on Ohio. It is 15 bucks and there are limited spots so if anyone is interested, you can register online.
Should be fun to watch the Pros and Joes (that would be me).
See you all there!
GO GOPHS!!!

It has been 12 years since I have done a TT, but I am giving it a shot. I ride that particular part of Shepard quite often, and the distance makes it a nice opportunity to be part of the action.
It wil be pretty interesting to see what kind of times come in for that short of a course.

Well, I got my rig ready...my legs...that is another story. LOL! I signed up for the Open Men. It also listed a "Men Stock" category...does anyone know what that means?
I borrowed a friend's Zipp 303's and I can't stop looking at my bike with those babies on. This is my first TT so I am looking forward to it.
See ya down there!

I believe "stock" is regular old road bike, and not the TT bike. Makes it more fair for those without full on tt rigs.
I could be wrong though.
Good luck!

I will be at the wheel pit doing flat fixes so hopefully I won't see anyone while they are racing but swing by and chat if you are spectating. I will be wearing the excelcycle shirt. Good luck in your races!

Well, I screwed up as I don't have aero bars. I looked for some clip-ons but I have the FSA K-Force Wing bars and they are unable to take clip-ons due to the flat tops. I was looking into getting an aero setup but figured it was too much trouble...and $$$. So I will be racing stock in the Open class...and getting STOMPED I am sure.
Pete, you installed a CK headset on my GF's 5.2 this spring while you were at Penn...congrats on the new gig. I will look for ya and say hi. Also, might want to see if are doing any wheel building class this fall as I am ready to put some new hoops on my CKs! I have the Mavic Open Pro click going on and it is driving me NUTS!!!

Yep, I remember you.
Thanks. The new gig is real good.
Ususally the click is the metal tab that they use to hold the rim before welding. You can put a drop of glue on it to hold it in place. It's might not be a structural problem.
I think I will have to do a wheel build class-I have been getting a lot of requests for another one. I'll post up when I set a date.

The Silver Cycling website has the results...I got SMOKED!!! I gunned it out the chute and was redlined the rest of the way. I should have paced a little more.
But I had a great time...man there were some SICK machines out there last night.

I was looking for them about pretty early last night, 10 pm or so. They were listed on the NVGP website this morning. Thanks for the links as well I tried both of them last night.
