Just got done riding the river bottoms. Two words - Sa weet! Thanks to the hikers, sledders, and snowshoe'rs, the trail is packed down quite nicely.
I rode the east side and the only thing that gave me any grief were the couple of really big hills. That was only because the snow wasn't packed down as well there (and that I'm out of shape). Otherwise, the whole trail is great. Just make sure you pay attention to your line, because things get difficult if you aren't on the packed down stuff.
Oh yeah, it was cold. I'm definitely investing in some Lake's next year. Brrrr.. But, it has to beat riding the trainer!
I'd be interested to hear how the west side is.
