I rode there last night on my 20 inch. The foam pit is really fun. This was my first ride in a real park and it was cool. :)
Bike hours are:
Sun. 9-noon
Mon. 3-6
Wed. 6-9
Fri. 9-midnight

I told them not to make separate sessions. Those are very lame hours....very lame. Oh well, they just don't want to listen.

Maybe it is b/c of that kind of attitude.
I've been talking with them since before they were open. The owner is a super cool guy. And I'm sure your not the only person trying to give advice.

Nope, it's because they have false ideas that bikes are more dangerous than skateboards and inlines.
Anyway, all it's going to do is hurt them. They will have these lame hours for bikers and be like, how come not many show up? At first, they will have a good amount of riders, but it will die off.....I have seen it many times.
The last park that did this, set lame hours for bikes, then eventually made the bike only sessions mixed sessions because there was not enough money generated for bikes only. Eventually they just stopped allowing bikes and figured there was no interest.
If they leave all sessions open to everyone, it works out just fine. Bikes and skaters can get along at the same time. But instead, this creates a separation between the two and it's not a good thing.
Oh well, I guess it's my attitude that is the problem......:p

agreed-however bike sessions are nice from time to time.
example- when i ride jsaw on my bmx and there are skaters there they seem to make really crappy runs right in front of the bikers and then we almost run them over.
I dont mind riding with skaters, just not all the time.
and im sure the reason that there are crappy bike sessions is because they weren't even going to let bikes in at all at first, mnbmx had to petition for it. and now there are crappy hours so the bmxers wont be able to come, and then they can just drop the sessions so they dont have to pay the insurance money or something.
it's rather lame- but tell me- is the park any good? is it worth the trip out there?

I made it out to showcase on wednesday with a buddy from work....
Overall, I'd say the park was pretty lackluster, and lacking flow. The mini is kinda lame, the box jump is tiny, the spine is tiny, and there is a lot of wasted space in my opinion. The funnest run in the place is a wedge to wedge leading to a hip and wallride, but even that has its problems....
The foam pit is cool, but the novelty wears off quick if you aren't one looking to dial jump tricks into it all day. It hurts a little to land too. I have no complaints about the hours though, as the monday session should be DEAD, and super fun to attend as one should have their run of the place.
