Saturday trail work!!!!!!

So we have the DH mostly done just a couple sections need to be cleaned up and buffed out, and since it is on my way back up to the ****ties I am going to stop for the day on Saturday to put some more shovel time in. Any more bodies that want to help out would be cool. Definilty more riding and less digging this time around as the trail is almost done. Just needs to be buffed out some!

You're insane Buck! Depending on the time I may be able to help out. I can't guarantee that I'll be able to open any gates though so you'll want to be able to bike out with your shovels, or maybe park kinda by the driving range (it's pretty close to the end of the course).

I rode what I could on my rigid singlespeed last night. I'd still like to get some B-lines for the drop to the doubletrack and your skijump, but I'll take care of that.

I can't be around for long. We'll see how long Larry and I ride, I want to make sure that we get some kind of a berm in after the massive log drop of doom and clean up the landing of that one...

Sorry I won't be able to open up the gates and let you guys drive right to the trail. I did tell Gus about it too, and he may or may not show up (more than likely will not... family stuff).

P.S. For those who might not really know where the DH is... if you are familiar with the XC trails you can find it by going straight out on the doubletrack (reverse of how the trails run) and go down to the "5-way" (where the ski trail from the golf course meets with the ski trail around the bluff). Take the ski trail to the right and you should see a little chicane section that leads to an obvious singletrack entrance to the middle section of the DH.
