Anyone ride the Off Road Classic this past weekend? How were the conditions? Turnout?

~300 starters. When I left cable to ride to Lakewoods the Bank sign said 36F, it was drizzling. When we lined up to start, the rain seemed to have stopped. Blistering start. Strangely enough the majority of the mud was on the Roads and Dual track. The Single Track was a lot more dry/tacky than I expected. As always the twisty bits were great. The roads just felt slow too me.
Most of the people I chatted with mentioned how slow the trail felt...I don't think anyone told that to Doug and Jeff, I'm pretty sure they figured out how to float over the trail.

I did it!
My first time. It was awesome. I started at the back due to a last minute glove change. I'd agree, the roads felt the slowest. At one point I was following someone and could see the ground just sag as we rode over it, like we were riding on a waterbed. The singletrack was awesome. I was amazed at how well it held up to so many riders.

Dan busted his seat at about mile 4 or 5. He turned around and had plenty of time for beer.
