Anyone have an idea of what this helmet is? Looks nice and small. And for those that care, I took this last spring at Porc Rim. I didn't ask him what lid he was wearing.

Looks like the Giro Xen, minus the visor to me. But I could be mistaken. Thats a cool pic, and that looks like a fun place to ride.

Last years model of the Giro Xen in Camo minus the Visor. I bought this years in Black camo. Adam Buck, I believe has the version in your pic.

Nah, flat black was the only option I had at that price point. $79.99 at WheelWorld.com. I would almost take pink for that price. Almost.

The Xen was waiting for me at lunch. Oooooooo, super comfy and lighter than my old Exodus. And the vents! Holy crap, I think it was putting a breeze through while just standing in the kitchen. Can't wait to put it to use, whether just cruising along or slamming into an immoveable object.

Who cares about the helmet.....sweet picture! I got to ride some stuff like that in Fruita. It's totally killer out west.

Warning: Tom, Don't read this since you're already happy with your helmet.

If anybody wants to get a Giro Xen for ridiculously cheap, go to ebay now and search on "Giro Xen." Ediscountbikes has a bunch of sizes in olive or bronze on there now with min bids about $55. I bid on a medium and was the only bidder so scored it for less than half MSRP. They're in Mayer so you can pick it up at their warehouse and save the $10 shipping too. They're 2005 models. Looked like most of the auctions were ending today and most didn't have any bids.

Anyway, maybe this helps somebody lookin for one of these right now -

Edit: I guess there is no huge rush; I checked again and there is another group 2 days out, and maybe more later.

Oh great, thanks Kurt! Now I don't feel as cool. Are you sure they're selling a Giro Xen and not a Gyro Zen? :crazy2:

Oh well, being made of money, as I am, means I'll just suck it up.
