In case anyone is near the St. Peter area on Saturday looking for something to do, I'll be doing trials demo's with a local bike event (http://spokebikes.com/page.cfm?PageID=161) for most of the day. Should be a good time.

Afterwards I'll be sessioning some very killer rock sections in town. Can't wait. :cool:

Times I need times I have to do track building at the Mankato BMX track. But after I'd like to hook up.:crazy2: I live in St Peter and would like to know where these rock piles are.

Where is this track? Is it in the same place the old one was in, Lynn Austin used to run it.

Hey Mike. I know they didn't post a time for the event, but I think they did an ad in the news paper there. They told me sometime starting around 10am and going til the event is over....maybe 2pm ish? There is a bunch of things going on, so who knows for sure.

As for the after-ride at the rocks, I'll be enroute to the Mill Pond. I'm hoping you know where that is. Park behind the Police station and Culligan water building, along the river.

Yes the track is in the same spot. But next year we'll have a new track in the indutrial park near Lime Valley and Indutrial Road. We will have the national track builder here to build it. We were hoping to have it done this year but the city is taking a while to get the i's dotted and the t's crossed.
I'm the Track director now but Lynn is still helping alot. As for St Peter I know it like the back of my hand.I'll be at the Mill Pond asap after the track build but don't wait for me. I just hope i can make it.

THE EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT SATURDAY, THE 20TH, DUE TO THE WEATHER.

I'll post an update later this week. The trials crew will be in St. Peter for a group ride that day as well. Gonna rock!
