Triple Crank Races at Mt. Kato: 5/13-14

I was just wondering if anyone is going to be heading to Mt Kato this coming weekend for the Triple Crank races? I haven't even ridden Mt Kato before, but am entered in the beginner race and was just wondering if anybody had any hints about Mt Kato or this particular race?

I'll be there too, riding in the sport class. But I've never ridden the course either.

They may let people pre-ride the course if you arrive really early. But being at a ski hill and called "mud madness" I'm assuming there will be some challenging climbs and a tire with good traction will be helpful.

The toughest part of the course isn't the climb, it's the mad squirrel. :D
