For the Race recap: There was only about 9 of us there tonight. Weather at the start was around 60 with high winds. The Course was 4.5 miles with around 375 feet of climbing per lap. Everyone elected to do the A race which was 2 laps long. The singletrack was slick and off camber. It was a real mountain bike race for sure. A cat 2 roadie showed up and I think he may give up on mountain biking for good after that. The winning time was just under 44 minutes. Weather at the finish was closer to 40 with high winds and rain licking our heels. It was fun, hopefully next week will have better weather. Results will be up on the Rasc club web site sometime.

Thanks Matthew. I was wondering how long the race was. Now that I know it is "real mountain bike trail" I am more inclined to show. I hope to make it next Wednesday.
