Trail work/ride 5/1 5:30 PM

This will be a preliminary unofficial work session. Our first big session will be May 22nd.

Meet at 5:30 PM in the Battle Creek Rec Center parking lot off of Winthrop.

Objectives- Clear trail of deadfalls and sticks, nip back any face slappers and clear out any trash that may have been missed on clean-up day.

Bring bikes. The tools we will be using will fit in a back pack or pocket. We can ride the trail slowly and take care of stuff as we come to it. Possibly split into two groups.

This is quite possibly my favorite local trail...plus I've been wanting to get more involved in the trail work scene (did some building at Wirth 2 yrs. ago, but nothing since).

So: I can't help tomorrow, but should be able to on the 22nd. Could you please post more info when it gets closer to that date?

Due to the incredibly wet weekend and the further rain forcasted for Monday I am calling off this session.

Paul and Matt, thanks for the interest and we'll maybe try it again next week.
