Steeplechase Trail Status

Trail workers were out at Steeplechase the last two weekends. The trails faired very well over the Winter and should be in excellent shape for the opening around May 1. Check out the Steeplechase web site for specifics on the opening day www.skisteeplechase.com (http://www.skisteeplechase.com) .

Yes week nights would be cool. Being a fellow trail steward does not leave me with alot of spare time. However, Steeplechase is definately worth the drive. Kudos to all who have worked there.

Steeplechase will be open for public riding on Saturdays starting Saturday May 6. We will be be working on the trails this Saturday from 8:30 to 12:30. Once we remove a large tree stump (this weekend) we will be able to ride singletrack from top to bottom.
