Beau, there is no race at Steeple Chase...that is for the MNSCS XC series.

Yeah I am sure, the only race being held there on June 4th is the MNSCS XC race.

Well, I'm stupid. I got Platteville and Plattekill (in New York) confused :crazy:. Damn, 7 less races this season.

Muddy River Rock n Roll will be having a Downhill race on July 16th. We'll actually be looking for people to help build the course soon.

What would it take to get a DH race at Steeplechase thius year? Even if it's not huge just something to get people motivated to check it out more. Any ideas Buck?

Why couldn't we just go there to ride, but have our own little time trial? Who needs entry fees and prizes? Let's do it for fun!

We wil be having a trail work weekend May 13 & 14. This is the final cutoff day for me to get all paper work in for NORBA and the city of Red Wing. That said, we need bodies. Lots of bodies. If these trails are not complete by the end of that weekend thier will be no race.

To answer the question of "Why do we need entryfees, why can't we just race/ride?" Because it has to be insured if it is on city property. Sorry to say I'm not Mr. Money bags I can't just insured everybody out of pocket.

Essentually I'm putting all you DH & DS'ers to the test. You say you want more of this stuff, prove it. Show up and help build it.

I'd be there to help, but I have a art show in Minneapolis on the 12th, and will have to stay there that weekend.
