I see that MORC is the organizer for the film here. Any idea on when or where it is going to show?

Yeah, I was there, pretty cool stuff. Roam is being released this month and it looks like many places are showing it soon, just not around here... Any small theaters we can get it shown in?

We're in serious negotiations to get ROAM for the MORC Film Festival the Summit in September. Look for more updates on the web and in the next newsletter, which should hit the mailboxes in early May.

Maybe we should step it up a notch and have it at the Omnitheater:cool:. Watching the teaser I almost expect it to say it will be showing there.

Would anyon have a problem if I tried to round up some stuff to give away at the film festival maybe to the crowd? I would be looking at national companies via emails and not so much local sponsorship because I know Eric does an awesome job getting prizes and such from our local sponsors.

I don't want to step on any toes.

No problem, Scott. We need any and all help that we can get. Troy Lawrence is the man for the Summit and Film Festival this year, so you may want to join forces with him. You're officially a rock star for stepping up...

Cool, I've had success in the past doing stuff for mtbr.com gatherings where I was able to get a fair amount of schwag and I'll give it the ole go again to see if I can get some stuff this year.

But of course! I wonder if Kurt Kinetic would donate a trainer in exchange for running their Bob Rolle commercial in between videos ;o)

I absolutely love the camera work these guys do. That's wicked trailer, better looking than more than half the crap coming out of Hollywood these days.

What I loved is the zip-line shots they did through the trees in the first Collective video, of guys just hauling DH then clearing roads and stuff.
Muy Fantastico!

I loved "The Collective". Can't wait for "Roam". Zip-line shots are cool but I don't think I have the balls to keep my eye in a camera's eye-piece while trees and branches fly by!:crazy2:

I obtained a copy of ROAM as a perk for all the work I did at the Spring Cup.

I count myself lucky that.

Havn't had a chance to watch it yet however.

Impressive work on that bar project. Can you buy them pre-built at retail?

I haven't seen anything like what I'm building for sale retail. I know you can go to Best Buy or anywhere and get kegerators that are prebuilt but as far as buying a bar that encases it you'd probably have to find a bar that was built to house a mini fridge under the bar and go from there.

Question is which tap tower to go with.......

If it was me (and I wish it was), I'd go with a 3" draft arm in stainless with no base. Keep it simple.

Maybe someday... :D

Just watched the copy of ROAM I got delivered by the mailman today.

sick bird.

Best $35.01 I ever spent. SO SO STOKED. And tomorrow, I leave for a 4 day mtn bike trip in Fruita, perfect timing...then after that its Whistla!

(The whistla segment in ROAM is sooooo dope!)

Simply glorious - http://www.beveragefactory.com/refrigerators/beer.shtml

I haven't considered a kegerator since the DIY days in college. Surprised by the number of options.

2007 capital budget for the Man Room just got increased!

Nah, no time, had to pack for Fruita. I brought it with though, so we'll be watching all of it on the laptop in the hotel between rides.

I actually got to see a pre-release in a theater/bar in Grand Junction last month.

It's pretty good, but I did not think it was as good as The Collective - Though there are some pretty sick tricks on this one.

Checked a lot of shops in CO & Moab - to see if any of them had it, but they were all getting it the week after I left.

Enjoy,
