I can now ride an old beat hardtail on a dusty dirt road with muchas topes while carrying a styrofoam container of Pina Colada mix (for las ninas) and a Modelo both in my left hand without spilling a drop of either. And I did this sans helmet and in sandals.

Good work. Hopefully you didn't need to dose up on Cipiro.

No "tourista" illness. Second trip to this locale as a family (third for my wife) and we have had no issues (I got dreadfully ill on my first trip to Ixtapa 18 years ago though!). The place we go is basically a farming village on the coast. El Burros and el Puercos wandering the streets give this place a decidely thirld world look, but the agua and hielo are fine and the people are fantastic!
