Driving this morning I saw a car pass the opposite way with 2 pretty nice full suspension bikes. I'm assuming that they were trying to ride around here. Hopefully not as I'm thinking the trails are way too wet still. Anyone know the current conditions?
Thanks

Thanks for asking. Here's the situation at Leb (and I assume everywhere else):

Unfortunately, the trails will be closed for probably another month.

On Wednesday, we were out at Leb putting up "keep-out" fence, and it looked like we were doing damage even to walk on the trail. It was all deep muck, with a few patches of snow. Since then, we got a bunch of rain.

This time of year is really critical. A foot or so below the surface, it is still frozen, so there is nowhere for the moisture to go. Once it thaws, it will still take a while for the dirt to dry out and settle in enough to ride. So, unless we get a long stretch of dry, sunny, windy days, it'll probably be another month. We'll post something here on the day it gets opened.

BTW, we did not see any signs of bikes or hikers there, so THANKS EVERYONE

I think we've come a long way since a few years ago. Every year it seems to get better.

Great job Bob and Ted on putting up the fences at Leb.

Even at Hillside it's been great. I only seen one track on section 1 and it looked like they got off part way through. Maybe the word is getting out better.
