I've got a spot in mind for the DS by the last pull over. There is some Saterday work as well. It's listed on www.muddyriverrace.com (http://www.muddyriverrace.com)

Here is a direct link (http://www.muddyriverrace.com/_sgg/m2_1.htm) to the trail work dates. The weekly dates are all Tuesdays. I'm assuming we're meeting at the driving range until the gates are open off of 7th.
Gus, I'd suggest moving the first weekend trail day. That's Easter weekend, I know that I'll be out of town on family things. Don't change it just because of me, just a thought.

Tuesday nights are tough for me, but I think I can make a weekend date. I can haul up a chainsaw if needed, also.

I stopped in the Route yesterday to buy the GF a new trek 4300 (hopefully get her more into biking, maybe even race and get some WIP goodies) and heard from Elliot the prospective DS course. Sounds pretty sweet. Plus I saw isaac's Lemond which is a damn sharp bike.
I saw the schedule but didn't cross check the dates with a calander.
I am also going to talk to my sister she used to do summer work in a program that employs at risk kids (she was a supervisor not an at risk kid) doing mindless labor for Goodhue and Wabasha counties. Not sure if it would work out but for another 5 or 6 people it might be worth looking into.

Hey all,
Ben, that would be cool to get that group to help out. I will take all the help I can get.
Porter, no problem. Help when you can.
Everyone else, we got some clean up done tonight. The southern side is very rideable just a few gooey spots. The center fiend trail is ridable as well. The Norht side however, STAY OFF FOR ANOTHER WEEK. I'll be looking at that next week. We check it out and found it to be very soupy.
Later dudes & dudets.

I haven't had a chance to ask my sister about the workforce team, but one idea led to another and got me wondering if any area youth group (4-h, scouts, etc.) are looking for any community projects. Might be a good way to get some free labor and expose a new generation to the sport. Not to mention give Gus the chance to kick back with a cold one and "manage".

Last year Lebanon Hills had the benefit of a local scout doing his Eagle scout project there. Not that I don't like the retaining wall I built when I got my Eagle award, but if I had the chance (idea) to do some trail work instead I would have jumped at the chance.
Yo Chris,
Have you started anything on the DH yet?

I am planning on it, do I need to bring any tools? or a bike ;) maybe a little optimistic

Sorry I won't be able to make it Gus.
On the tool front, if you have a nice walk behind sickel (spelling?) mower that would be great. I think the major work will be on starting the downhill, so any kind of brush clearer/trimmer would be handy. As would a rock rake or something. Gus should have enough shovels to choke a donkey. My opinions of course. Hopefully Gus answers definatively.
Oh... I don't know how late Gus is planning on working, but if there is enough time (and the weather holds out) bringing your bike would not be a waste of time. If you know what I mean.
Thanks!
Isaac
Gus,
I can make it down for a couple hrs...I have shoot that early afternoon and evening on Saturday(fashion show... ) anyway if we met at say 9 am could we walk some of the area? then I could stick around for a couple hrs and throw some dirt for ya!

Gus- are you planning to have any trail work on weekends? If you have dates planned, I would love to know what they are so that I could get them down on my calendar. Thanks!

I think the next officially scheduled weekend date is the 13th of May. I'd guess we might try to cram another weekend date in before that though (I'm busy the 6th and 7th probably though, so no dice for me if there is work then).
Even if there isn't any trailwork scheduled, you'd be doing your part by coming down to ride one of the next weekends. The new section of trail needs riders in a bad way.
Thanks

I'll see what I can do. The 13th is the Cable Off Road Classic so I'll be up-nort!
