Is this the trail session that if you work it you get the free season pass?

Yes, that has been a benefit in the past. I'll check on that for sure. I'll also be gone for it, Fruita trip!

Would you consider a Saturday race rather than Sunday? I know it is typical to do races on Sundays, but this is really usually only done to accommodate stage races and other events take place Sat. To that point, I don't know why most of the MNSCS races are Sunday given the lack of STXC and Super D events. I am glad to see at least a couple MNSCS Saturday races.
my 2 cents...

I'm kind of with you on the Saturday races but I guess there is a road race that Saturday.

Is that why they do it? Hmmm. I'd rather they are on Saturday because then I don't have to be concerned with riding too hard on the day before the race. Also, for church-goin-family-types, the Sunday races are a bit of an inconvenience.
BTW, yes there is a road race in Avon on Saturday May 6th, and also there is a time trial on May 7th. Both are MCF ROY events, so I wouldn't expect the roadies to show.

yeah I would definitely be there if it were on Saturday. I'm one of those 'church-goin-family-types' ;) Oh well, maybe the next race.

I would never race if they were on Saturdays. Spring cup is always a pain to work out.
